The Self Employment Benefits Program (SEB) delivered by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, provides an opportunity for those who are unemployed to start a business. Enterprise Brant facilitates the application and on-going support for approved businesses.
		The SEB program includes: an individual assessment of entrepreneurial attributes, business plan development, bi-weekly income benefits, ongoing business counselling, skills development and mentoring while they get their business up and running.

		You are eligible to apply to the Self Employment Benefits Program if you are UNEMPLOYED and: are receiving EI benefits or have received EI benefits within the last 3 years or received Maternity/Parental Benefits in the last 5 years and you have not already started, registered or advertised a business.
